Kraft, with no relation of the food empire of a similar name, identifies himself as a Catholic husband and father. 

He is a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus serving as Financial Secretary of the Fr. Walter Dalton, CSP Council 12409 at The University of Texas at Austin and a member of the Bishop Louis J. Reicher Assembly 1099.

Kraft joined the Knights of Columbus as a member of Sacred Heart Council 10998 on June 10, 2003 and received his second and third degree as a member of the Fr. Gene Dore Council 10131.

Starting in 2010, he now works for the Knights of Columbus working with nine councils in the Austin area helping to recruit and assist members with their fraternal benefits.
